The new Motion continues the revolution started by Hifly in 1995. It is a better beginners and entry level board than its predecessor.  It weighs 18.9 kg (1 kg less than the Premo),
only 290cm long has foot straps, a retractable center board and is 90cm wide (super stable).  It can be sailed in light to moderately strong winds (5 to 25 mph).  It is practically indestructible and comes with a great sports rig.  All in all, the prefect entry level board.

In 1995 Hifly started a revolution with the release of the Premo.  It was 31" inches wide, 11 feet long and as stable as an aircraft carrier!  This was the first windsurfer to make it easy to learn! Now How Hifly has done it again. The released the Motion. People can learn to windsurf in one day on this board.  Since we started using this board in our classes we went from 4 full teaching days on average to a day to learn all the basics! The new Motion board now takes this to the next level. We are adding level two skills to our class and beginner are having more fun than ever. This is also a great family and beginner board.  Two people can sail on it at one time and its perfect for that person who can only get away occasionally to go windsurfing.  Quick learning and fun is what this board is all about.  An interesting note on this board is that it has similar dimensions to the very first sailboards invented by Newman Darby in 1964!  Wider is better!
